PACRMOON FESTIVAL – MOON OF ASIA

This was the challenge presented to Je t’aime Art for the PARC MOON FESTIVAL 2026 project at PARC MALL. The goal was not only to create a visually striking Mid-Autumn space but also to forge emotional “touchpoints” – places of connection where unforgettable moments are captured for both local residents and the international community in Vietnam. Using the “Ribbon of Harmony” as a unifying thread that runs through the entire concept, the space guides visitors through distinct East Asian cultural stops: Moon of Unity: The central moon, a symbolic intersection of myriad cultural shades. Vietnam Moon Street: Vibrant memories of reunion brought to life through familiar lanterns and the lively pulse of a Vietnamese festival. Otsukimi Garden: A Japanese moon-viewing corner embodying a tranquil, minimalist spirit in complete harmony with nature. Chuseok Yard: A warm Korean Chuseok space celebrating the values of togetherness and community sharing. Zhongqiu Lantern Court: The dazzling colors of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival illuminated by lanterns and festive artistic strokes.

Concept

Inspired by the journey of connecting Asian Mid-Autumn Festival colors, this year’s Mid-Autumn decoration concept, MOON OF ASIA, is crafted as a cultural narrative where every detail carries its own distinct meaning. The central moon represents the intersection of East Asian cultures, where all journeys converge beneath the exact same moonlight. From here, PARC MALL transforms into a gathering place for the community to meet, share, and enjoy the most vibrant Mid-Autumn season of the year. Four distinct decoration clusters showcase the signature cultural colors of four countries: Japan, Korea, China, and Vietnam. Without having to travel far, families can simply visit Parc Mall to check in and experience the festive Mid-Autumn atmosphere of multiple Asian cultures firsthand.
